Dayi 太易

The Dayi input method (大易輸入法) was invented in 1988 by Wang Zanjie (王贊傑). Like Cangjie it's based on the use of radicals, however the keystroke sequence to input the characters follows the Chinese writing sequence. It uses almost all the keys (46) on the keyboard which can be an inconvenience, it also requires a deep understanding of how Chinese characters are built up. On most Taiwanese keyboards the the Dayi radicals are displayed on the bottom right of the key. This IME is included in the Chinese language support for Windows.
